About the Role
We are looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to join our growing digital team at A2Z Dev Center. In this role you will own the search strategy for our clients from technical audits to content optimization and stay ahead of how AI is reshaping search discovery. You will work directly with content, development, and paid media teams to deliver measurable organic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute on-page SEO: title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, schema markup, and content optimization
- Build and manage off-page strategies including link acquisition, digital PR, and brand mention tracking
- Conduct technical SEO audits and work with developers to fix crawlability, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and indexation issues
- Implement AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategies to win featured snippets, PAA boxes, and AI-generated answer placements
- Develop GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies to ensure client content surfaces in AI-driven search results (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews)
- Use AI tools to scale keyword research, content gap analysis, and reporting workflows
- Track and report on rankings, organic traffic, and conversion impact using Google Search Console, GA4, and Semrush
- Mentor junior SEO team members and review their work
Requirements
- 4–5 years of hands-on SEO experience with a track record of ranking results across multiple clients or industries
- Strong on-page SEO skills: content optimization, internal linking, keyword mapping, and schema implementation
- Proven off-page experience: link building, outreach campaigns, and authority building
- Deep technical SEO knowledge: crawl budget, page speed, Core Web Vitals, hreflang, canonical tags, log file analysis
- Understanding of AEO and GEO — how to structure content for AI answer engines and generative search results
- Working knowledge of AI tools applied to SEO workflows (ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI-based keyword tools)
- Proficient with Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4
- Strong written and verbal communication — able to present strategy and results to clients clearly
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup and meet deadlines without micromanagement
Nice to Have
- Experience with multilingual or international SEO
- Background in content marketing or technical writing
- Familiarity with WordPress, schema.org, and Core Web Vitals optimization
